McInnis and Hickenlooper square off on energy

Two candidates to be Colorado's next governor ― Democrat John Hickenlooper and Republican Scott McInnis ― rolled out their energy plans for the state Tuesday at a Denver Petroleum Club forum.

The plans were similar. Both spoke about the need to tweak Colorado's new oil and gas operations rules to promote industry growth, to pursue renewable energy as well as traditional fossil fuel resources, and to hold the state's natural gas industry to high environmental standards. Read More -
