Norton’s new bumper sticker “The Buck stops here”

The Jane Norton for U.S. Senate campaign is once again taking advantage of fellow Republican Ken Buck’s much-maligned comments about footwear, because unlike a pair of stilettos, this thing has gotten traction.

At a libertarian event July 17, Buck told the crowd to vote for him, because he doesn’t wear high heels.

The gender-based joke set pundits, television hosts and bloggers atwitter with questions about its appropriateness and gave the Norton campaign Buck-bashing fodder for days.

Now her camp is handing out bumper stickers featuring hot pink lettering, a picture of a high-heeled shoe and the old adage “The Buck stops here.”    - More –
