Online Colorado voter registration attracts predominantly Republican men

The initial batch of voters registering online in Colorado are decidedly male and Republican.

In the first three months of the system's debut, almost 5,000 people have used it to register to vote or change their registration.

A demographic breakdown by the secretary of state's office shows that nearly 39 percent were Republicans compared with nearly 29 percent Democrats. Unaffiliated voters made up almost 30 percent of the users.    More -
