Suthers raises more money than Garnett in Attorney General’s race

Colorado Attorney General John Suthers roundly beat Boulder County District Attorney Stan Garnett in the latest fundraising period, taking in nearly $85,000 to Garnett's $56,000 in the race for attorney general.

The reporting period ran from May 27 to June 30.

Suthers' campaign reported having $284,000 cash on hand. Garnett has a little more than $25,000 left in his coffers, but campaign spokesman Charlie Brennan said Garnett had just spent $100,000 on a media buy.     – More -
