Dan Maes picks Tambor Williams

GOP gubernatorial nominee Dan Maes will announce Tambor Williams as his running mate at an afternoon news conference today.

Williams, a former Greeley state legislator, was first elected in 1996 and served there until 2004 when she was picked by former Gov. Bill Owens to serve as director of the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies.

Most recently, Williams has worked with the Office of Judicial Performance, which evaluates Colorado judges.
