Republican gubernatorial candidate Dan Maes added businessman Pete Coors to his burgeoning list of supporters Friday. “Colorado deserves fresh leadership committed to lower taxes and creating an economic environment that will solve budget issues and create jobs,” said Coors. “Dan Maes will deliver that leadership to our state.”
Coors is currently the chairman of the board of Molson Coors Brewing Company and the University of Colorado Hospital Foundation.
The Coors endorsement adds to a growing list of supporters gained by Maes in recent weeks. Other endorsements include Congressmen Mike Coffman and Doug Lamborn, former Senator Hank Brown, and current national committeeman Mark Hillman.
Coors is a good man. I hope that this will start to show people that Dan Maes is the peoples choice and that everyone starts to get behind him.
