Poll: Norton, Bennet and McInnis lead

All the national media flocking to Colorado thinking that primaries here Tuesday night will be yet another death blow to the political establishment may want to hold the phone before filing those stories.

While all three races remain close, a new poll from Public Policy Polling shows all three so-called "establishment" candidates, Sen. Michael Bennet, Jane Norton and Scott McInnis, leading their respective races for U.S. Senate and gubernatorial nominations.

Most dramatically, Bennet, the Democratic incumbent whose job is on the line -- and, based on a poll last weekend, appears to be in serious jeopardy -- is holding the largest lead, a six-point margin over primary challenger Andrew Romanoff.     More -
