Republican Senate candidate Ken Buck is getting cozier with his party's leaders in Washington.Buck is the beneficiary of a Washington reception Tuesday hosted in part by Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell and Sen. John Cornyn of Texas, head of the National Republican Senatorial Committee.
Buck criticized the GOP committee during his primary campaign against Jane Norton, who was backed by both McConnell and Cornyn. Buck had support from tea party groups and the Senate Conservatives Fund, led by South Carolina Sen. Jim DeMint. – More -
