Colorado’s gubernatorial candidates to speak at forum in Pueblo

Pueblo residents can hear the three candidates for Colorado governor debate the issues tonight at the Sangre de Cristo Arts and Conference Center, beginning at 6 p.m.

Denver mayor John Hickenlooper, the Democrat nominee, will be joined by the American Constitution Party nominee Tom Tancredo and GOP nominee Dan Maes.

The forum brings the three major contenders together just as mail ballots are going out this week for the Nov. 2 election, signaling that the hard-fought political season is going into its final three weeks.

The forum is part of a series being sponsored by The Pueblo Chieftain, Sangre de Cristo Arts and Conference Center, Pueblo Community College, Pueblo City Schools and the 2020 Commission.   More -
