Hickenlooper picks Bent County Commissionerl Long for transition team

Gov.-elect John Hickenlooper has selected Bent County Commissioner Bill Long as the 33rd co-chair of his state transition team.

Long said he that his selection gives southern Colorado a voice when the state makes decisions that affect the area, such as water rights. He feels his serving will be important and help give rural Colorado input.
