Colorado’s Sen. Michael Bennet was overheard this morning, complaining that process of setting the agenda during the lame-duck session is “rigged.”
The Daily Caller reports that the remark was picked up live on an open C-SPAN mic. An aide quickly realized the mistake, jumped up and had the sound cut off.
“It’s all rigged. The whole conversation is rigged,” said Colorado Democratic Sen. Michael Bennet. “The fact that we don’t get to a discussion before the break about what we’re going to do in the lame duck. It’s just rigged.”
For once I think Bennett has it right. It is all rigged. What a government. For the people by the people. "RIGHT".
ReplyDeleteIsn't this the third or fourth time that Bennet has been caught on a hot C-SPAN mic?
