Nancy Sharpe, mayor of Greenwood Village and a longtime activist in south metro government and economic-development circles, has won the Arapahoe County Commissioner, District 2 race against Democrat Rebecca McClellan.Of the 42,604 votes counted by 10:00 AM, Nov. 3, Sharpe had nearly 62 percent of the vote in her favor.
“I’m excited to be able to represent Arapahoe County,” Sharpe said on election night, Nov. 2. “I had a good team. It was a positive campaign. I think that resonated with voters.”
District 2 includes parts of Centennial, Greenwood Village, Cherry Hills Village and unincorporated Arapahoe County.
