Colorado Springs City Council at-large race keeps getting bigger

The Colorado Springs Gazette reports that four new candidates have filed their paper work this week to run for City Council at-large. This brings the total to six people running for the seat, and more rumored to be filing in the coming days.

The roll of candidates so far is as follows:

Thomas “Tommy” Exum Sr., a retired Colorado Springs Fire Department battalion chief.

Daniel Reifschneider, a retired Air Force officer.

Tim Leigh, a commercial real estate broker.

Tony Carpenter, a former city streets worker.

Brandy Williams, a civil engineer.

Merv Bennett, President and CEO of a local YMCA.
