Hickenlooper names Pacheco as Director of Boards & Commissions Office

Gov. John Hickenlooper announced Monday that Romaine Pacheco is the new Director of the Boards and Commissions Office. The office manages the process for more than 3,000 appointments made by the Governor to more than 300 state boards and commissions.

Pacheco was previously the State Director of Constituent Services for Sen. Michael Bennet and before that for former Sen. Ken Salazar.

“Romaine’s statewide knowledge and experience is a great fit for this position, which the state depends upon to help provide leadership to a host of state agencies and boards,” Hickenlooper said. “As we push for government to be effective and efficient, Boards and Commissions is a great way for the public to get involved and have a voice. Under Romaine’s leadership, we will be reaching out to diverse groups and communities to get Colorado residents involved.”
