Carol Boigon’s out with new TV ads

After her first television commercial failed to hit the mark, mayoral candidate Carol Boigon has come out with a pair of ads that she hopes will show Denver that Boigon means business.

The first ad focuses on Boigon’s civic activism and accomplishments. The second ad, titled ‘Stand Out’, centers around her city council vote against a 6.6 percent pay raise for Denver’s incoming elected officials.

“I’m proud of my vote to reject pay raises for elected officials and record of being a good steward with taxpayer dollars,” Boigon says.

Both ads began airing Tuesday.
