Congressman Coffman responds to the Frankfurt airport attack

Wednesday Congressman Mike Coffman (R-CD6) released the following statement in response to the attack on an American military bus at the Frankfurt airport:

“My thoughts and prayers go out to the families of the two airmen killed today and to the two who were wounded by a Muslim extremist,” Coffman said. “No doubt, having served in Germany with the U.S. Army in the 1970’s, this was completely unexpected and raises the security concerns of our military personnel everywhere.”

Coffman, a member of the House Armed Services Committee, is a combat veteran who served in the U.S. Army, the Army Reserve, the U.S. Marine Corps and the Marine Corps Reserve.
