Mike Coffman: “ObamaCare is a costly failure”

Congressman Mike Coffman (R-Aurora) released the following statement Wednesday on the one year anniversary of ObamaCare:

“After one year, as predicted by those of us who opposed it, ObamaCare is a costly failure. Despite promises to the contrary, the nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office last week conceded that ObamaCare will cost 8.6 percent more than it originally estimated, bringing the total cost of the bill to $1.13 trillion,” Coffman said. “The bill was wrongly sold to Americans as a measure that saves money, but what we really need is to repeal ObamaCare and replace it with common-sense reforms that truly lower cost and expand insurance availability.”
