After receiving dismal poll numbers over the weekend, Denver City Councilwoman Carol Boigon has quit her campaign for Denver mayor.Boigon also announced that she is throwing her support behind fellow Council member Michael Hancock’s mayoral bid.
Boigon, who’s campaign was heavily self financed, never caught on with Denver voters.
This weekends Denver Post/9NEWS poll showed Romer tied with Mejia at 22 percent, followed by Hancock at 18 percent. Boigon trailed with a mere 8 percent.
