Buck raises half as much money as Norton

Ken Buck’s campaign said Tuesday that the second quarter fund-raising was about $417,000. This is less than half the $900,000 that his opponent Jane Norton raised in the same period.

Last week, Norton’s campaign said they had more than $600,000 cash on hand. Buck reports having $664,000 cash on hand.

Buck’s campaign manager, Walter Klein, said “Norton is taking a page out of Obama’s establishment playbook — spending money hand-over-fist but sagging in the polls.”

Norton’s spokeswoman, Cinamon Watson, said she didn’t understand “what planet” Klein was on.
