Gov Ritter introduces new 'temporary' health care insurance program for Colorado

In the West Foyer of the Capitol today, Governor Bill Ritter celebrated national health care reform legislation by announcing the introduction of the state’s new temporary insurance program for Coloradans with preexisting medical conditions.

“Thousands of Coloradans are unable to get health insurance because of pre-existing conditions,” Ritter said. “I look forward to working together with partners Rocky Mountain Health Plans and Cover Colorado to provide Coloradans who have been denied coverage access to much-needed relief through this temporary insurance plan. This will be an important step toward improving the health security of Colorado families.” - Read More -
