Hickenlooper raised & spent more than McInnis did in June

Democrat John Hickenlooper raised about three times the amount of money Republican Scott McInnis collected last month in the race for governor.

That means Hickenlooper has edged ahead of McInnis in overall fundraising, according to campaign finance statements filed by the candidates Tuesday.

Hickenlooper spent $350,000 last month to reserve television time for campaign ads, bringing his total television investment to $1.2 million, according to the filings.    - More –
