Aurora City Councilman Ryan Frazier beat Lang Sias for the GOP nomination in Colorado’s 7th congressional District. It’s a big win for the National Republican Congressional Committee who picked Frazier for its “Young Guns” candidate program.
Frazier's win is a black eye for a host of Republicans who supported Sias, including former Colorado Rep. Tom Tancredo and Sen. John McCain.
Frazier will now face Rep.Ed Perlmutter in the November election.
