Justice Sotomayor speaks at Denver University

Hundreds were in attendance at the University of Denver’s Sturm College of Law Thursday, as U.S. Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor answered questions about her life.

Sotomayor spoke for just over an hour and took questions from students. She limited her comments to her personal experiences, avoiding any questions about issues that could eventually reach the supreme court.

Sotomayor was invited to speak at the forum by the Colorado Campaign for Inclusive Excellence and Denver University.

Sotomayor will be in Colorado Springs this weekend, to attend the 10th U.S. Circuit conference that is being held there. Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg will also be attending.
