The American Future Fund is spending more than half a million dollars to try to oust Colorado Democratic Rep. Ed Perlmutter, a huge sum in a district less competitive than others where the group is playing. The $560,000 is for both an ad buy and a field campaign — the only district where AFF is funding a grassroots component.
Perlmutter is facing Navy veteran Ryan Frazier, a Republican with considerable support from the national party.
Colorado’s 7th District does represent an opportunity for AFF to make a serious dent in a place where other groups haven’t been as active. – More -
