Democrat John Hickenlooper and American Constitution Party challenger Tom Tancredo have a big fundraising lead over GOP gubernatorial candidate Dan Maes according to records released Tuesday, by the Colorado the secretary of state’s office.The records show Hickenlooper raised $387,000 from Sept. 30 to Oct. 13, bringing his total for the campaign to $3.7 million.
Tancredo experienced a giant surge in fundraising, collecting over $220,000 for a total of $682,000.
Dan Maes, who has been in a political free fall since the primary election, raised only $22,000 for a total of $304,000.
