The Daily Camera reports that the Boulder City Council has recommended a 4 percent "performance increase" in the salary of City Manager Jane Brautigam.
The 4 percent increase translates to $7,308 and will bring Brautigam’s annual salary to $190,008.
Brautigam, who was hired in 2008 to be Boulder's first female city manager, received an overall job performance rating of 4.74 out of 5 by the council.
Last year, the city manager decided to put on hold the practice of offering most non-unionized city workers a general salary increase in 2010. But the city manager remained eligible for a merit increase.
