Gov. Ritter - Hickenlooper should give himself a pay raise

Governor Bill Ritter joined KOA’s Mike Rosen on Monday, for his last monthly appointment.

Ritter recommended that Gov.-elect Hickenlooper should give himself a pay raise if the political climate is right.

He points out that the Colorado governors salary is one of the lowest among U.S. governors. The salary has not gone up since 1998 and is less than half that of the $206,500 the governor of California makes.

  1. The Gov of California may make more but look at the condition that state is in.

You don't always get more if you pay more.
