Ross Cunniff announces his bid for Fort Collins mayor

Former Poudre School Board member Ross Cunniff , has announced his candidacy for Fort Collins mayor in the upcoming April 5, 2011 election.

Cunniff is currently a Director of Software at NVIDIA, a computer technology company, and has over 25 years experience in the private high-tech industry. Cunniff and his wife Jill moved to Fort Collins over 23 years ago.

When asked why he is running, Cunniff said, "I was honored to serve on the PSD Board of Education. From that experience, I learned to appreciate the value of inclusive public participation in local government. Fort Collins is going through a lot of change now. I want to use my experience and skills to help our community stay great."

Current Fort Collins Mayor Doug Hutchinson is term limited.
