Thursday Senate Minority Leader Mike Kopp, Assistant Minority Leader Bill Cadman and Senate Minority Whip Scott Renfroe met with the Capitol press to give a mid-session update. The meeting consisted of the Senate Republican leadership highlighting the legislative efforts taken by the GOP caucus. The GOP Senators discussed caucus efforts to cut regulatory burdens on business, lower the tax burden and the HOPE Act which would opt Colorado out of the federal healthcare law through the creation of an interstate healthcare compact.
