Thursday the Senate Republicans attempted to set the record straight on claims made by Senate Democrats regarding the redistricting process. Senator Greg Brophy, R-Wray, said “Despite claims they are willing to work together on a bipartisan map. Senate Democrats continue to stall the process. Republicans will continue to urge them to draw these maps in a public forum that’s open and transparent.” “The facts speak for themselves,” said Senate Minority Leader Mike Kopp, R-Littleton. “The Democrats’ stall tactics and distortions do not change that, nor do they serve the public’s interest.”
