John Walsh Sworn In As US Attorney For Colorado

In a private ceremony Monday morning, John F. Walsh, President Barack Obama’s pick for Colorado’s U.S. attorney, was sworn in by Chief U.S. District Court Judge Wiley Y. Daniel, Walsh’s office disclosed at 4:14 p.m.

Members of Walsh’s family attended the swearing in, the location of which was not disclosed but was believed to be Denver’s Alfred A. Arraj U.S. Courthouse, 901 19th St.

There will be a public swearing in at a later date, U.S. attorney’s spokesman Jeff Dorschner said.   More -
