Colorado Gov.-elect John Hickenlooper, a Democrat, has named former Gov. Bill Owens, a Republican, as one of 16 statewide co-chairs of his transition team.Other co-chairs include former Denver Mayor Wellington Webb and the top executives of Liberty Media, Kaiser Foundation Health Plan Colorado and the El Pomar Foundation, among other groups.
Hickenlooper also named Bob Schaffer, a former GOP congressman and now a Colorado State Board of Education member, as co-chair of his transition team’s issue committee on education. – More -
