Sen. Bennet thanks Pueblo for his victory

Sen. Michael Bennet won his razor-thin election victory over Republican Ken Buck last week by an 18,000-vote margin and Pueblo County played an important role in that victory.

Pueblo County Democrats turned out for Bennet, giving him a 6,617 vote plurality over Buck countywide. Bennet came back to Pueblo on Tuesday evening to thank the activists who worked to turn out those votes.

"It's rare in life that you get to participate in a campaign where every vote made a difference, where every phone call mattered and every door you knocked on was important," Bennet told a small crowd of about 50 local Democrats at the Senior Resource Development Agency. "But you made it possible for me to win."

Bennet received 28,044 votes in Pueblo County to Buck's 21,427 votes.   More -

Ask your "friends", the NEA for money! They're the people/teachers who slandered Ken Buck during the election
