U. S. Rep. Mike Coffman (R-CD6) released the following statement today in response to the passage of H.J. Res. 48, a short-term continuing resolution that funds government through April 8 and reduces spending by another $6 billion, bringing the total to $10 billion in budget cuts over the last five weeks:
“We’ve avoided a government shutdown and delivered $10 billion in spending cuts through stopgap funding bills,” Coffman said. “President Obama and his congressional allies need to work with us to get a responsible budget passed for the rest of this year.”
