Andrew Romanoff’s house will be back on the market soon

Greg Geller, who made headlines last month for buying Andrew Romanoff’s house as a fix and flip, says that the home should be renovated and back up on the market in November.

Romanoff sold his house at 887 S. Gilpin St. in the Washington Park area for $360,000. He used the proceeds from the sale to keep his campaign for the Democratic Senate nomination going.

Geller said that when he bought the house he had no idea he was buying Romanoff’s home, nor did he care.

After Romanoff lost the primary, several of Geller’s friends teased him about his purchase and joked that maybe he wants his house back. Geller is clear on the answer to that, “I’m not giving it back to him.”

Geller says that he did agree to lease the house back to Romanoff until September, “after that, we’re going to start the renovations.”

The property is expected to go on the market for $475,000
